Hello, I'm originally with BT but like other customers got pushed over to EE when I rang up to renew my contract. I rang up to cancel the package a few hours later and BT put in a cease order whilst telling me it would take 24/48 hours. That was on Wednesday.
When I look at the order it says CEASE ORDER - PENDING and I can't order another BT package whilst this is going on.
I asked customer services and they said the account won't close until the 22nd of August, is that right?
Other information: my account with BT is still running until 5th of September.
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

@Astrophobic While there is a cease on your account, do not think that any ISP can do anything, so BT call is what you require to do as mustrum suggested.
