Busiest Home Bundle Speeds

Hi EE gang,

Recently moved to a new property that had EE/BT and we took out the EE Busiest Home broadband (1.6GBPS) with a guaranteed 1.3GBPS speed. We have been at this new property for just under 5 months and I am not seeing speeds in excess of  800MBPS. I have rang EE support twice and on both occasions been told that the speeds I am getting is normal!!!!

I only have 21 devices connected. Is the speeds I am getting normal or should I be getting the 1.3gbps as per their guarantee?

many thanks

Morning @rareair04

Thanks for coming to the community.

Our About broadband speed help page has information on testing and ways to improve the speeds. If the speeds are still lower than the speed guarantee after trying the steps in the help page, and you have been in touch with our tech guides to get this looked into previously, you can open a complaint. Once the team pick this up they will get the connection looked into and get in touch. Ways to open a complaint can be found on the Make a Complaint page.

Leanne.

How are you measuring your speeds? You should get speeds of at least 1.3 Gig only as the BB sync speed to the router itself, not necessarily as far as your devices.

Have you run the speedtest in the EE app? What does it report as the speed to router?

I ran the test via Speedtest but not through ee app. Will try that and see what I get.

The speedtest in the EE app is the only 1 capable of reading the BB sync speed to the router which is the only speed that EE is responsible for. All the rest can only measure the d/load speeds to devices.
