Which provider/service is best. Bt or EE. I know they’re both owned by EE now but is there any difference in the connection?

@Lfcmacca   BT own EE and has since 2015  and they both use the same line to your home.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

There should be no diff in BB from either BT Retail or EE. They both use lines provided by Openreach. All 3 are separate subsidiaries of the BT Group.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

If you currently have EE Mobile or are looking to join, then going for EE Broadband offers the most benefits such as Unlimited data boosts and exclusive tariffs on a 30 day rolling basis for sim only or airtime with a phone.

If you currently have EE Pay Monthly, make sure you mention this up front and they place the order on top of your existing account so as to get your benefits and not run into the account linking issues.

Other than the mobile benefits, you get a WiFi 6 Router as standard or you can get up to 1.6Gb with WiFi 7 on EE, but the other speeds below this are quite similar between BT and EE.

BT Smart Hub 2 is only WiFi 5, but it's quite a good router. If you join BT, you can always move across at any time to an equivalent or higher plan.
