Hi I signed up for full fibre max without land-line.
Selected a date for 28-10-2022 (ie tomorrow) I have recieved an email this morning saying its now 21-11-2022 which is almost 4 weeks after the original date. Anybody any idea why that would be?
I was on Virgin but where I've moved to doesn't have Virgin. So signed up to ee and I'm set to properly move in on Saturday. Why has the goalposts been moved?
I have a openreach ONT already installed. It's a new build (previous occupier moved in for the first time April 2021).
So not sure why it has been put back so far.

You're asking us to guess. Your guess is good as mine:
OR availability, strikes , ...
What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

@gazza1988 when did the previous occupants move out? If recently they would have cancelled the service and previous suppliers most likely have a 30-day cancellation period, meaning no new orders can be placed until the period has completed. After that it is down to engineer availability.

I got through on the phone.
Turns out the ONT at the house wasn't plugged in so it showed as faulty in the tests.
It has since been retested but because it flagged up an engineer needed they can't change the appointment or activation date. It will mean cancelling the order and putting a new one in to get a closer date.
