BT Smart Hub 2 wifi disc.

Since BT switched us over to Full Fibre Digital when we had to sign agree the rules and were switched to a new contract. Our wifi is a complete waste of time. Unable to download, print or even recieve any messages that require wifi upstairs it is total waste. No longer have our wireless security cameras either. We have given up with BT and wish we could walk away but is too expensive to canel the contract. Along with many others in the area now have all sorts of problems with BT. We were not even able to dial out on our landline during most of July. Need to obtain some wifi disc`s but have to switch over to more expensive contract. Do not appear to be able to buy these from elsewhere.  Means new contract @£19.99 more a month. Any idea where I can buy these disc`s and if they will work.

Similar issue. My contract was up with BT, which resulted in a new upgrade contract with EE. Since the move, i've had nothing but bother with the wifi. However spoke to them 2 days ago and they've sent a replacement EE smart hub, as i was receiving 13mb download speed for my full fibre contract. I'm hoping i see a significant improvement, but i've been less than impressed so far

See my response above, but i've recently upgraded my BT broadband at the end of contract which made me move to EE as part of their merger. So full fibre contract was now with EE, however i kept BT Smart Hub 2 which i was a little suspicious about. EE informed me on the phone everything seemed fine to the house, so must be the router hence the new EE smart hub i received the next day. Hoping wifi speeds are consistent and stable

Due to the failure of our landline for a month BT sent new Smart Hub 2 made no difference to ring out or receive calls. Internet working 30-35% each day. Openreach engineer checked our speed showed 299. Mbps Download and 65.5 Mpbs. upload, despite BT telling us we have 504 Mbps Download and 70.1 Mpbs upload. In June it`s the handset and PC that are at fault. Replace the PC cost of £970. New BT 4600 handset £119.99 but same faults. Credited our months payment as a goodwill gesture! Latest fix, recommend switching to Full fibre 500 Halo 3+ @£19.99 monthly increase with no landline, used daily! To fix Wi-Fi upstairs with 3 Disc extenders, to resore security cameras, stopped when switched to Full fibre. Still in contract 2025 or would walk away from BT/EE completely today. Both neighbours not with BT and identical constructed houses, have no problems with Wi-Fi signal or dropout, ours is daily occurrence with TV, PC, and our ground floor cameras.  Trying to buy Wi-Fi Disc without additional increase to monthly bill which appear to be from either Amazon or eBay, but no guarantee if they are new or used. Thirteen on Amazon with identical names, dates and review.
