BT Mini hub not working with EE

Bluenails
Investigator

With BT I had broadband of about 50mb, Digital Voice, BT Halo 3 and a mini hub-backup. BT emailed to renew my package which I did for £2 less pm. At the same time I was moved to EE. This seemed seamless.

I was a satisfied customer until I checked to see if the mini-hub backup worked. No it did not connect like it did previously when BT WiFi was out for a time. I would be grateful to learn what to do next.

Thanks in anticipation.

Perhaps as I surmise landline & mobile calls are routed differently.

Why do you do this?

What? What are you on about? Why do you think I "do this"? Obviously cuz it's a fact.

Well, I just rang 2 EE CS landline nos. from my landline & it offered me Opt 1 for BB, etc. & Opt 2 for mobile, just as I state in my sig.

How is it possible for our calls to CS to be routed to a diff announcement? Did you call from a mobile? Perhaps landline & mobile do so route differently. Get it into your head that our joint experience proves it is possible

It might be a fact for you, however for me, mobile or landline is Option 1 Mobile, Option 2 Home Broadband.

So, no, you surmise wrong. Another mystery EE fairy function perhaps.

@Mustrum

+1 exactly the same for me.👍

Full Fibre Busiest Home Bundle 1.6Gb.

I've called the no. umpteen times & it always comes up with Option 1 as BB etc. I would post a sound recording here if it allowed me. It's not really important as either way the announcement is clear as to which is which.

What is the list of things that comes up with the BB option? Is much like in my sig. which would seem to indicate that it's been updated for NEW EE BB (which I'm not on). The old option 2 used to just cover BB & Home Phone.

@Mustrum : My surmise might well be wrong (it's only a surmise after all) but the fact remains that when I dial it I always get BB on option 1.

I believe you & others that you get BB on option 2. The trouble with you is that you don't believe me & make out I'm lying by your accusative supercilious posts.
