BT Broadband to EE Broadband

Okay need some clear answers as getting nowhere with calling 150!
Recently switched from BT to EE for Broadband services. BT supplied a Smart Hub 2 (router) & Hybrid connect to guarantee my Broadband many moons ago. No new EE hub device has arrived so sticking with BT one for now (advised if getting new hub would have been here by now).
It appears everything has switched over as I am still receiving broadband & wifi connection around the house. So the questions I have:

1. I have been asked to return the Hybrid connect, mini hub & wifi disc. Never used the last two devices but the hybrid connect seems integral to the operation? Should I return it?
2. The hybrid connect device is connected to the hub by Ethernet & although the unit is blue; there are red lights constantly flashing which I can’t seem to stop. Can I stop this? It is so annoying!

Can anyone shed some light on what to do?

Hi @StBob Thanks for posting, with your New EE Broadband plan did you take a Smart Hybrid Connect subscription with your package?

Flashing red means the hybrid connect can't connect to the mobile network, which makes me think it may not be provided as part of your New EE plan. I'll send you a private message so you can contact us with your details and we'll figure this out.
