Hi, We've just upgraded to full fibre 900mb. All devices connected no issues. TV streaming all good. Website access all good. But Amazon seems to refuse. I've cleared all cache, I've rebooted the router, I've tested on various browsers. I've not got any other Amazon devices connected. WOrks no issues via iPhone. But not on laptop. Just whirrs. Cannot even logon since the 2 phase authorisation "enter the code" page never materialises on the laptop.
e-Bay= instant access. Google searches all instantly. Clicking onto any new websites and we get instant access.
What's going on with Amazon and EE Fibre?
Fails on Edge and Chrome and Safari - so it's not the browsers or cache?
Fail on WI-fi or Ethernet connection.
Wierd !!
Any suggestions ?

Just another response, Norton often will often treat "Public" and "Private" connections differently, so I would maybe change the Ethernet connection to Private to see if it makes a difference..
Start -> Settings -> Network and INternet -> Click your Ethernet adapater -> under network profile, select private network. It's an easy way of checking IF Norton is putting restrictions on your connection.

Are you talking about the Amazon website or some Amazon device? You say:

implying that you do have an Amazon device. Is that what is not working?
I access the Amazon site constantly over EE FF BB w/out trouble.

HI, Apologies for not being clear.
Its accessing the Amazon UK store (via windows laptop - chrome and/or Edge same issue). ie The Online Amazon website. It's that is just whirring. eg. It appears. I try to login. It presented the login. But the authentication window to enter a code, never arrives. Just "loading" messages. My wife has same on her ipad in safari but its OK on the app on iphone. Pop ups arent the issue.
I referenced Amazon devices because I'd read there were some issues with EE fibre and devices such as DOT or other devices. I have a kindle. But that's rarely ever online. It's just v strange that ONE website is impossible to use.
I'm looking for pointers as to where to look/explore options etc. I'll recheck my network connections..
Fibre serivce was new as of yesterday. Upgrade from BT Broadband. So there's a lot of change going on here !!

Does Amazon.co.uk work on your mobile devices, without connecting to WiFi? If so, try and hotspot your Windows machine to your phone and see if that works. If it works, it's likely to be router related, if it doesn't you potentially have some software or possible DNS settings restricting access to the website.

This has nothing to do with my phone. Phone works fine.
It’s Windows. Chrome/edge browsers both the same. There’s no lock on any site. Checked Norton too. Cleared all cache. Wiped all network profiles and re connected. All sites work fine. Amazon is just the weird one.

Do you have the same issues if you try the US site - i.e. amazon.com?
