Amazon Fire Tv new wifi cannot connect to EE

I have EE wifi.

I have not been able to log my Amazon Toshiba Fire TV to EE wifi as there is EE cookies message which does not show fully. It says click ok if you accept cookies. Nothing happens. This is preventing me from logging into EE wifi for the first time on this tv. It says scroll down etc to click ok on the cookies box, but nothing happens when I click ok. My phone is on EE wifi and that is fine. The Amazon fire tv is registered on my Amazon account. It is just the cookies box with white background that will not move, so preventing me from logging in. It also says connect to EE wifi but not connected to the internet. Yet I can connect to the internet on my phone.

Sorry to ask, when it says router uses mobile network, does the fact that my mobile whivh does mot use EE, have any bearing on one of the wireless routers working for me?

I am sorry to ask what may sound like a daft question, but I am confused.

I do not undrrstand the SIM in a hub involvement or how muvh data I will need.

Thank you.

The network your mobile phone uses (which is what?) has no bearing on the network your mobile router uses. Many peeps use the same for both but it is not essential.

A mobile router needs a SIM in it to connect to a particular mobile network just like your mobile phone does.

@Karen207 Have you checked the quality of the 4G or 5G mobile at your area? The link below is the coverage checker for EE mobile, and EE mobile broadband. Restrictions on data and speed can also be applied to sim data modules. And also the link to prices assuming that EE 5G was available, 2nd link below 3rd is 4G. Average 4K HD move is 25Mb/s streaming and approx 3/5GB size for 1hr movie, this varies per title but will give you an idea just got to work out what you think you need for 1 month.

@XRaySpeX

Thank you.

I can't find the link now, but I entered wireless router in search box.

@Garethrprice

Thank you.

I may go for not unlimited if I cannot find/afford unlimited data BB.

Still cannot narrow one down.

Thank you.

@Garethrprice I looked at the link you sent.

I cannot narrow down to any routers.

Thank you.

@Karen207  from all that you have posted so far, and clicking on your last link then the EE 5G unlimited data option would appear to your best bet. https://ee.co.uk/broadband/pay-monthly-mobile-broadband-gallery/smart-5g-hub-details

Your coverage checks says you get good 5G coverage, so no point going for the 4G option which is the same price.  5G is newer and can be faster than 4G. https://ee.co.uk/broadband/pay-monthly-mobile-broadband-gallery/smart-5g-hub-details

Mr Google suggests 300Gb is needed for streaming TV in a month, so the 100Gb options would mean you would need to top up each month.

So basically going mobile broadband will cost you £50 a month for two years, with £100 upfront - though you could save that with the 4G Smart Hub 2 option. Like all broadband contracts the cost will increase each year in March.

Were it  me, I would challenge the no drill option and push for FTTP - not only will it reduce your costs by - depending on speed - 50% - and  will increase the value of the property in the future. Who would want to live in a property without broadband these days.
