Going to be starting a new contract mid aug ( Im assuming it will be the SH31B hub? ) , will only be having part fibre .... ie fibre to the exchange and cooper to to the house.
Was wanting to know if I could use the same router that is being provided by ISP ( if I bought one or two more ) as EAPs and connected in series, Starting at router , one will be going to another floor from router and from that one to garden shed (max 15/20m away from house).
Yea I get that there are ee wifi extenders but they only have one lan port.
Any other advice would be most welcomed. product names and codes would also help.
Thanks

@Tinnaz What Router do you have now with EE, not normal to get a new one just because you are going to renew!
You really do not want to get Multiple Routers and try to connect them up as AP's you are going to have a major fight on your hands getting them to all play nice, understand it's a cheap way off getting hold but a disaster in the pipeline!

Hi and thanks for the reply
I have been on a rolling contract as I was waiting for full fibre to be installed in my area. ee would not offer a upgraded router because I was not in contract ....??? I didn't want to be locked into a contract but it seems its going to be another cupple of years before full fibre happens.
Currently have very old smart hub , the one that apparently had security expoltes before patch.
Again I'm assuming I will be receiving sh31b hub
Thanks

The other way I thought would be to come off a
Netgear 5 port gigabit network switch GS305 ( connected to router ) for my slower/small data traffic
and have two ethernets coming off network switch and going to both wifi hubs in each desired location ? One on another floor , one in garden. The only reason I initially said 2 x routers in series was because of only one lan port per wifi hub.
Again unless someone else can suggest a better solution ?

@Tinnaz Personally i would use a few switches where required as the main uplink to the EE Router and go from that point onwards. Sure someone posted sometime earlier the Netgear GS305 where wobbling in the network but you will find out once you connect it all up! They don't cost much anyway for small ones.

Yea , I already use a few switch near the routers mentioned above ,
Never seem to have wobbling on the netgear switches as of yet, so far they have all worked flawlessly, but will keep a eye on them.
So your suggesting that the best option in your opinion would be a single ethernet cable to each 2 x ee wifi hubs at the desired positions from router position? ( either direct to router or switch )
or
Ethernet cable to netgear switch next to first wifi hub position ( on another floor ) and then spur off the netgear switch to other wifi hub position , ie the garden ?
Sorry, but just want to be totally sure I'm understanding your suggestion.

@Tinnaz For me, would run a single Ethernet cable from each point that you require direct back to the Main EE Router location or to it's switch if that is where you have one due to the lack off ports...
At the other end say the Garage, you want both wired and wireless wi-fi at that location. Would take the Ethernet and put it in the Netgear switch uplink port, connect one off the other Lan ports on the switch to a Smart Wireless Extender, NOT A ROUTER, that gives you 3 spare Ethernet ports to connect on the switch and full speed through the Smart Wireless Extender wired backhaul. Then you other location is just the same rinse and repeat...
If you try to use multiple routers, you have to go try hard to de-tune them out off being routers, an that can get very messy very quick, do this times two you just doubled it all, Bob Pullen did a post earlier for such will try to find it and link for you, then you can make your own mind up! There is another more detailed but this is the first i found take a look!
