My old BrightBox2 gave choice of connection between the two frequencies when searching for WiFi. My new Smart Hub Plus doesn't, and gives just the one router without the choice. How do I know which frequency is in use, because I have experienced some very slow BBC iPlayer with lots of buffering?

@TallSteve : By looking in your router's settings at Advanced Settings > My Network. It'll tell you which WiFi band each device is connected to.

What device are you running iPlayer on?

Problem was with built-in iPlayer on Smart TV, and also on Amazon Firestick.
