Had Great reliable service over the last year but today the download speed has dropped from 1.6Gbps to 50Mbps, when I called they said it was a know issue with "the package" whatever that means, not a local issue. Anyone else have the same?

If we all keep calling them up and complaining that may help 😂

Nice start for a Monday morning for them.

Just to add the the list, my speeds dropped sometime Saturday afternoon and was getting 37Mbps. This morning though connected at 3Mbps so got worse rather than better. Hopefully be some official recognition of the problem, paying a premium here so expect better support!

@Cstarks It also has the effect of hindering the execution off the work required to be done!

The people picking up the phones are hardly likely to be the same people fixing the issue; let's be realistic.

I'm selfish and just want Internet service so hinder away. 😀

It feels like no progress has been made with the inconsistent updates from support in all honesty.

No one said we expected them to fix it. But better Comms I would expect. Gone from yesterday, to today now end of the week.

Exactly the same lack of grounded communication with respect to the dropouts last year (https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Broadband-Landline/1-6Gbit-connection-new-smart-hub-white-small-box-sp...)

So we can conclude they don't learn from mistakes. Fantastic.

@spacedyemeerkat Yes you are 100% correct on that, so best just to leave it alone, and that way the Engineers required can get on with the task in hand, sorting it out!
