I’m appalled how EE can claim to have 11 years great, customer service, going by reviews. I had full fibre installed Monday, installation went ok until activation. Wouldn’t connect, so engineer arranged to return following day. I cancelled an appointment to be there for them. I’m up and running now. But there’s damage to an external wall which has been patched with silicone, frankly a mess. Called EE to ask if they could tidy it up with a small plastic box. Need to fill in a claim form and get quotes etc etc it could be fixed so easily without all this bureaucracy. I’m totally disgusted, wish I’d just stayed with BT, I’m angry upset and frankly disappointed at the way people are treated these days, no responsibility or accountability. Horrible way to treat people

Hi @rsjs29.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community.

I can totally understand that  you'll feel let down if things have been left in a poor state following your installation.

Like the Guide you spoke with and @garybs29 have mentioned though, all installations are handled through Openreach, so it would usually be them responsible for any issues that are linked with this.

They have a dedicated page where you can report any issues with their equipment, and you can find more information here:

Report damage, vandalism or a health & safety issue | Openreach

The full fibre install was done by openreach who BT would have used anyway so it's understandable there's more involved to get the issue looked at as it's not EE themselves who are at fault
