I’m Sorcha – one of the Community Managers here. You may be wondering what the community is all about, so I’ve written a few words to explain it a little more. Let me know if you have questions or comments below – just click the comment button. 🙂
The EE Community is a peer to peer community whereby the members help each other out, sharing their knowledge, chatting about tech and other interests, and also seeking answers to their questions. Joining the community means you can find out from other members anything from how to resolve an issue, to advice and honest views on what new phone or device to invest your hard-earned money on.
The Stars are the superusers of the EE Community – they’re the members who have chosen to spend a lot of time helping out and supporting people in finding the answers they need. We have recognised that they are a valuable crew, and so we have rewarded them by inviting them to join the Stars programme, where they get some fun perks; more of which later!
We also have 2 Community Managers – one being me @Sorcha and the other is @TiffJ. We’re here to make sure that everything is as it should be – that it works well, and that the information presented to you is true and accurate. We’re also the ones who’ll tell you about new EE things – be it product launches, new plans or initiatives that you might find interesting or useful.
The Community Support Team are here to do exactly that – support you. They’ll provide answers to questions that the Stars and other members of the community may not be able to, and they’re always available for a chat about anything and everything – in fact we even have a dedicated area of the Community just for that! They’ll also guide you to where you can find more information about anything EE. The team can and will set up private messages for any questions that require it too.
One of the perks of being a Community Star is the opportunity to see new products and devices before anyone else. This month Samsung has been kind enough to lend us some of the new Samsung S10 and S10+ phones, and some of the Stars have had the chance to play with them and write their own reviews..
