As part of the EE Community Support Team we were offered the chance to travel to the BT Tower in London to meet some of our amazing EE Community Stars. Katie_B and I jumped at the opportunity to meet the amazing Stars that we interact with every day.

We got the chance to meet @Schockwave @Peter_C @Profile closed and @Watkins07 – who’d travelled from all over the country to attend.
Being part of the EE Star programme comes with some very nice perks, including invitations to VIP events and early access to new EE initiatives and promotions. There are also opportunities to connect with EE staff to develop and test new products and services.
Sharing feedback
We had lots of BT and EE employees attend the event to meet the Stars and let them know what they’re working on for EE customers - including EE Help and the EE Coverage Checker. The Stars got a chance to ask questions and to learn about new features. They even got to a test a new product that’s going to be launching very soon - very top secret!

The feedback we get from each and every one of our Stars is the best the business can ask for. Their experience as customers and supporting other customers on the forum means they know exactly what’s needed.
Getting to know each other
After we’d introduced the different areas of the business and the Stars had shared their feedback, we headed up to the top of the tower. The Community Managers had organised drinks and the views were amazing. We got to have a good chat with the Stars and answer any questions they had for us.

Katie and I had no expectations ahead of the day - we just wanted to show the Stars how much we appreciate them, and to let them know more about us away from the keyboard. But during the day we learned a lot from other areas of the business and made some great contacts who we’ll be seeing again.

We had a great day and can’t wait for the next catch up, where we hope more Stars can attend.
If this sounds like something you’d love to be part of, find out how you can join the Stars programme.
