starting my Doro 1370 phone with EE

My son bought the phone with an EE pay as you go card. Several people have tried to set it up for me.I now switch it on and the screen says ICE at the top .Then underneath it says ID and then underneath that Name: with a white box for me to fill in.

That is the only thing I can do on this phone.I cant get any further with it.

Can some one please help me?

Hi @oap89

I hope you're well and having a nice day, other than this issue of course.

Did you buy the handset from us or somewhere else?

Thanks

Chris

Hi I bought it from ASDA with a Vodaphone sim to put in. But my mother jas had bad reception from vodaphone in the past.
So I bought an EE sim which at the time was being advertised as compatible.I tried the EE and nothing .I eventually after phoning ee ,doro and  got some sensible advice from an ASDA girl.
So although i have wasted 4hrs  i am going to check the phone with another Vodaphone sim in it. If it doesnt work to my mothers satisfaction I will get a PUK # and then choose a suitsble network.
Cheers Chris

If you need anything else from us then please just let me know.

Thanks

Chris

It's probably locked to Voda & will need unlocking by them before it will accept an EE SIM.
