Hi, I pre ordered and received a pixel 6 but just don't like it.
I transferred my old number across from another provider and now need to know if I can get a PAC and transfer my number back. Even though I'm returning the phone. I need to keep the number as I've had it years and use it for my customers.
thanks

Hello @tavish26
Welcome to the EE community - just to clarify my understanding, are you saying that you are a new customer to EE with the Pixel 6 and a ported-in number all as part of the same transaction?
If so, you can you use your 14day return rights to cancel your account, but that will serve to cancel the contract and take your ported number with it.
I suspect you will need to use the PAC process (or transfer to EE PAYG) in order to keep your number live, and in doing so cancel the upgrade.
That will render you liable to early termination penalties, I don't immediately see a way around this "catch 22" situation.

oh that's not fair/right.....
This was a new contract and as lots of people do, i ported my number, but the phone doesn't work with my car, which is very important to me. The phone connects and copies my numbers but the handsfree function doesn't work now, it was fine with my old phone.
If there is a solution to this that would be ok, but I cant be having to pull over everytime I need to make a call...

It's easy to be wise in hindsight, but I'd have suggested not porting your number in until you were sure you were happy with the phone.
I'd recommend calling EE C/S on 150 from your mobile, an agent will have access to your individual account and may be able to advise further.
I've a feeling your solutions may be limited, but please post back if you get a favourable outcome.
