new customer, sim only, wrong data on confirmation

Greetings

This morning I signed up to EE sim only on the 160GB 5G plan at £20/24 month. The thanks for your order email confirms 160GB.

I've now received the order confirmation email, except it says the plan is 5G sim 80GB £20/24month. The plan description describes 80GB etc.

Is this an error on the confirmation email?

Is my new plan 160GB as advertised and ordered, or 80GB?

Thanks

The 160 and 200gb Plans are s bit strange, sometimes it shows as an additional 80gb in your Add Ons / Benefits or sometimes shows as 80 only to start with then kicks in after a few days.

I would give it s few days or a week, then if still not there give 150 a call.

Thanks @EssexBoyEE your explanation makes sense. I'll see what its like once the sim arrives and I can inspect it on my account

Thanks again

Ken

update:

Sim arrived very quickly on Saturday via first class post. Popped sim into phone and did the setup and joined the number to myEE etc

myEE reports the correct plan at 160GB, but "your 5G SIM plan gives you 80GB of data"

The allowance reset overnight, but still shows 80GB.

Called 150 and spoke to helpdesk. They could see issue. All they could say was that initially there is a smaller data allocation, but this should reset to the full allocation after 7 days, and that I have to wait until next week. (much as @EssexBoyEE described)

I will give another update if and when things change.

Otherwise I'm pretty impressed by the data speeds I'm getting. Meanwhile PAC has been submitted to transfer my number from my previous network. Roll on Tuesday
