I pre-ordered an iPhone 13 Pro Max 128Gb Sierra Blue within the first hour of the pre-orders opening on the 17th, there was a problem with the order processing EE’s end after I got my confirmation and wasn’t sorted until I called in yesterday 24th, I understand that there is a first come first serve on the new phones at the moment, am I going to have to wait many weeks for my new position in the queue?

Yes, happened to a lot of us. Unfortunate, but it is what it is. I ordered both mine and my wife’s phone on the same day. They processed hers, she received it Friday. I however, like you had to redo the order and join the back of the line.
