iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

 

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

 

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

 

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

I’ve spoken to live chat and they have no idea when I will get my phone, other than they will be send it once they have stock. No timescale given whatsoever which does worry me a bit!

What phone did you order 

Download the DPD app people, it's more of an update and can edit delivery choose time etc my order status through EE still says awaiting confirmation but on DPD app I got a notification and it's come up as an active parcel now and says we have received your details and expect to receive your parcel shortly

I’ve got an email confirming my order from EE, but the trackers saying awaiting confirmation. I’ve got the DPD app but nothing, says no active parcels

Mine always says something went wrong 

I was trying to get a live chat going with them, but every option I submitted they said no to, so.. ill probably phone them tomorrow and see

I received an email on 25th when my order was processed to say I could track my order with DPD using my consignment number as reference. I don't know what my consignment number is? I've only been given an order number from EE and my dashboard still says 'Awaiting confirmation' for delivery date and nothing else 😞

Just spoke to a lad on the phone, and I was saying to him how other phone providers haven’t got any stock at all till around December time. He went away & spoke to someone higher up, and they didn’t know neither. They said it could be as early as December.

They’ve quoted me another “7 days max” 🙄 I’m so tempted to just cancel the order and leave ee. Idk how everyone is tracking their orders with dpd before getting texts but I tried to get my tracking order and they said I don’t have one. They aren’t doing anything to help everyone during the crisis. Their handling of this mess is appalling. I’ve had enough now. 16th at 220pm is when I placed my order. And I’m now being quoted a full week into November...what even was the point of preordering.

It is a joke mate.

 

We have all been shafted.

 

I ordered mine the 18th and date has changed a few times.

 

This last update changed from the 2-7th to the 5-10th of November.

 

Kind of given up chasing them.

 

Everyone reports different feedback from different representatives.

 

I would cancel but I’ve waited so long i might as-well stick it out.

 

I did consider getting the 12 pro max but that’s way too big.

 

I will wait until the 10th most then if not, probably cancel and get a samsung S20
