iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

I ordered my phone for it to come today 

but it is still awaiting confirmation. Do you reckon there is any chance of picking it up at an eye store

My order tracker has shown expected delivery today and dispatch in 24hes for the last few days. Its now changed to unknow and nothing from DPD. I'm assuming it's not going to arrive today. So frustrating as no comms at all. 

Has anyone received a text from DPD this morning that didnt last night?

@destefano98  Mine is arriving around lunch time today. I ordered at 15:00 on 16th if thats any help although I really don't think they've been allocated in a "first come first served" basis.

I doubt it very much. They’ve **bleep** a number of pre-orders so the chances of there being any free stock roaming about in stores is pretty unlikely. I worked in store when at uni and the first few days after launch, all deliveries were for pre-orders then free stock would start trickling through after 6 or 7 days. Generally, about a month after launch there would be enough stock that walk-ins could be fairly confident that they could get the colour/storage they wanted.

only slight niggle .... it doesn’t come with a plug 😮 any idea where will have one in stock for me to collect today ??
