Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!
Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.
Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.
What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

Mine still says order confirmed, so I haven't even been given an estimated date like others, getting pathetic now may cancel

I ordered my iPhone 12 Pro 256 in Pacific Blue on the 19th October.
Since then my delivery date has been 'awaiting confirmation'
Any has any idea when would they be delivered or any contact number to communicate to EE as I am switching from a different provider I don’t know the number

Ordered my pacific blue on preorder day. My status said estimated 30th Oct - 2 nov.
just received text from ee saying dpd delivery will be 28th Oct.

I don't understand how people are getting dates. I ordered on the 18th and can't even track mine. Yesterday they supposedly had no stock so how are people getting theirs tomorrow. I so annoyed how this has been handled. I have launched a complaint for what good that will do. I'm seriously considering going to trading standards. They have not delivered the service I paid. Everyone you speak to gives you a different answer. It's a bloody joke.

You have to be adamant.
If via the website, demand the case / complaint be escalated continuously until you reach a manager. ( It’ll be displayed in the title when an agent connects to the chat ).
They will say give me a moment while they have a look over the previous conversations with agents you’ve had to try an come to a resolve.
However i can tell you, you’ll just be told I’m sorry multiple times but in your case an actual date as we ordered the same time but mine updated two days ago to the 2-7th of November.
Also the most compensation you’ll get is £30 credit towards your next bill.
The basic agents will try offer £10 even the supervisor but only discuss that with the actual manager of the department.
They’ll usually suggest it anyway as they are aware the service has been terrible.
I’m a new customer FYI so my first impressions are terrible.
The only reason why I didn’t / haven’t cancelled is because of how much I’ve been messed around an waited.
Everyone else like Carphone warehouse e t c is saying two weeks even up to four weeks in some colours.
As i want the iPhone 12 Pro, unfortunately, i have to see out this period of incompetence as I’m already quite invested.
