iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

 

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

 

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

 

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

Ive just been told that if you didnt pre-order on the 16th then your phone wont be coming today.

They also said I ordered on the 22nd which is wrong as I ordered on the 18th but they said once you order online it goes to them team and they then actually order it so it took them a total of 4 days to actually put my order through and theyve said it will be a few weeks wait

@Gr3mlyn  you should speak with a CSM like I did; my order was placed on 16.10.20 but failed their end and was actually processed 20.10.20.

 

I spoke with a lady (CSM) this morning who has said I’ll have to earliest tomorrow, latest Tuesday with my DPD tracking number coming through to me at some point today.

 

Also insist on them adding the notes to your account as well as their name for record.

 

Hope you get some good news soon!

What is csm

They just make it up, I ordered bang on 1pm on 16th and still no phone, EE have no clue but I did just get £30 out of them

When I try to do the live chat it will not let me in and it would say sooty we cannot assist you

That way you can also email yourself a copy of the transcript to revisit any information that they give you at a later time.

 

I initially spoke to an advisor and after a few minutes I request I be put through to a manager.
