iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

I had it this year i did the pre-order and had a call saying there was no pre-order on my account and rather than paying £600 early upgrade i could just have a contract through them for the phone with no cost luckly i dont fall for that crap but some people will

I am fuming! I have been in constant contact with incompetent people, and finally just now, a csa has confirmed that there has been an error in my order (made on Friday). I received the confirmation with the XKO number but, to date, I still cannot track my order! It says "Sorry, we can't show your order details right now. "

I have called them many times throughout the week and they only chose to get the payment via phone on Wednesday.

What upsets me the most, is the rudest person I spoke to today at EE, saying that it's a matter of luck if you get the phone tomorrow!

What a S@@@@y service, taken into account that I have paid £573 to keep my current phone!

I’m also annoyed, I ordered it at 1pm on launch day; they confirmed I’d be receiving it tomorrow. I even rang on Sunday for extra reassurance and they said it’s all going ahead fine. 

checked on the tracking link and it looks as if I won’t be getting it tomorrow!

There were issues to in-ordering instore they couldn’t get the system to update and confirm on Friday

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING A REPLY!!!! 

people who have received confirmation by DPD stating delivery will happen tomorrow then it is happening regardless of the day/time you placed your order. 

if DPD have said you’ll get it tomorrow then you will. DPD HAVE THE ORDERS IF THEY HAVE STATED THIS TO YOU.

if your Order is saying “waiting confirmation” via the EE tracking and DPD hasn’t got into contact with you then this is more than likely you will receive your phone Monday maybe possibly later. No amount of complaining or calling EE will change this. 

yes we’re all excited and yes some will receive phones earlier than others. 

yes it’s frustrating having to wait is we was told the 23rd. 

but please stop blowing this thread up, I am getting hundreds of emails as I’m sure most of you are.

let’s all pray that we get the phones tomorrow, if not then do not worry as we will get the phone at some point 🙂 there are bigger things to worry about than getting a new iPhone 🙂 

just remember at some point you’ll have the new phone and this will all be just a faded memory 🙂
