iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

It’s quite annoying when you order at 1pm on the 16th but it’s the day before Launch and you’ve had no comms from EE and then on the DPD app when you put the tracking number it says not registered 😭 all can do is pray...

Just tried chat and was told none are arriving till Monday 26th... told her that definitely wasn't the case as per this thread and plenty of people having tracking numbers for tomorrow and she just said Monday. Only person to tell me that so far, all she offered was to raise a complaint for me, but she also spelt come as **bleep** so...

Not really sure how I feel right now, very agitated that I preordered at 12:55pm and got a 23rd slot and have somehow not even been dispatched yet, when it was picked at 5pm yesterday... so its just waiting to go onto a truck.

I ordered mine on Wednesday, just got a message from DPD saying delivery due tomorrow, so I guess ordering late wasn’t an issue

Yeah... Thing is, there’s nothing more aggravating then pre-ordering something, receiving an email confirmation saying “expect delivery on the 23rd Launch Day” and it’s just not the case. Rather don’t promise something you can’t keep because then you just let your customers down

@matttherat30  Hope the flights run ok tonight then 🤞🏼 Mine is on on its way to Hinckley but that’s my local depot anyway !

@Kyemaloy  that’s exactly what I’m on about. Why are EE staff telling you none are arriving until Monday when that’s clearly not true 🙄

Just seems totally random... plenty of people on here who ordered way after me but have it coming tomorrow but mine is just in some kind of limbo where is just needs to be collected, I had my stock allocated and it just seems my phone hasn't gone to DPD yet

@Kyemaloy i feel like I’m in the same boat as you. I’m not a religious person but I’ll be praying tonight - if I can get to sleep 🤣

Have you also just had like, it move to Dispatch expected in 24 hours, only to have it just sit there all day. No emails from DPD and no movement, and I don't have a phone atm so I cant check the DPD app or see if ive had any text messages

@Kyemaloy yup. Exactly the same stage with the EE order track. I do have access to DPD but whenever I put in the order track it says “Oops Something Went Wrong.” - this is probably due to DPD not actually having collected the order yet though. I don’t think I’m going to chase up EE as I don’t think any advisers can give fulfilling answers. Just gonna have to leave it up to fate... 😅
