iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

 

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

 

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

 

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

@leafwolf Honestly, if I wasn't using EE for mobile service I'd cut them out altogether. They don't know their heads from their toes.

@Drewhl94 still got no luck on mine, ordered on Wednesday at 1:02pm. agent guaranteed the phone? there still might be hope😔

@SuperFlyMilk They really are utterly useless. Only reason I'm still with them is because my mum has several phone plans with them and so gets really good deals, otherwise I would have gone elsewhere years ago😭

It's so stressful seeing everyone dispatch but I don't have access to my phone number for texts or to the DPD app either at the moment, so I cant tell what's going on 😢 Thought they'd email AND text but it seems they're only texting people

I genuinely cannot believe how unorganised this whole process has been. Surely EE secure a batch of iPhones from Apple and from that stock can tell who has managed to get one for launch day?

Like it really isn’t that hard. I feel sorry for people because I know I definitely only ordered on the basis I would get it on launch day.

I’ve got it now showing on DPD app but sure who knows if that’s even accurate!

I got an email from DPD saying they will deliver tomorrow

DPD are very good and reliable, so if they say they're delivering tomorrow the rest assured they will be
