iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

 

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

 

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

 

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

Lol EE still don't think I'm getting the 256GB Pacific Blue phone tomorrow as status still reads Awaiting Confirmation but DPD app has updated to "we have your parcel"

 

 

I preordered in store as the website wasn’t working for me, so I’ve not officially chosen my tariff yet as they’ll process that tomorrow when I  go to collect the phone.

 

When I look at the website through the upgrade option, I get offered 40GB for £63 (iPhone 12 64gb), but if I browse as a new customer it offers 100GB for £63.

 

40GB is more than enough for me, especially now when working from home, but it does feel like I’m being cheated a bit.

@TheGavnor definitely not too late for it to come tomorrow, I had a DPD delivery come the same day it was shipped back in May... it shipped at around 1am and came the same day at 9:45am!

Exactly, seems like customer service don’t know anything - just a guessing game😂

Wonder that are my chances getting it tomorrow, still saying “Awaiting confirmation” 😔

So the wife, who's order tracking says 26th-31st, has just got an email from DPD stating delivery tomorrow of EE parcel.

 

I haven't had any DPD Info yet and mines says 23rd haha.. so we will see

Yeah it’s all over the place.

there is a delay with logistics and it’s first come first serve situation.

 

some will get tomorrow some won’t til Monday.

I really hope someone can help me here. I ordered a 128gb 12 Pro in Silver on 17th of October over the phone (150). Got a £71 deal with 100gb data and £100 upfront cost. The payment has been done and everything was confirmed on the phone on that day. Since then I have not receive ANY sort of confirmation from EE. No emails, no messages, no call, nothing. After contacting them a few times I only managed to get the order number that doesn't show anything on order tracking website and was only told my order has gone through. No information of any sorts on my online account. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Thanks.
