Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!
Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.
Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.
What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

Mine updated overnight it seems. Last checked it at around 11pm and it was still "awaiting update". Then checked at 8am and it had updated.

I’m guessing though as it’s delivered next day, there’s still hope for a Friday delivery, it could change overnight or tomorrow too?

Do you have a proper order number starting with 00 in a nice EE email? Or just the xko order number?
And does tracking work for you as in it shows a page with Expected Delivery date: Awaiting confirmation?

Yeah I got a text with the tracking which says the 00 number but never got an email with that number only the xko one .
trackign works just states awaiting confirmation .
I got email soo. As I ordered it , then got another email Monday titled your new preorder again the the xko number

I only ever got the XKO email confirmation, I haven't had any further emails or texts at all. However, my tracking (via inputting the XKO number) shows as delivery 23rd.
So I don't think it matters if your order number starts XKO or not, as long as you have a number.

I upgraded to the IPhone pro 128gb reason being is I have the 11 pro max at the moment but it’s too big, yet found 5.8 too small so 6.1 is perfect for me!

Yeah I did put in the xko number and my email and still couldn’t get in to track my order. Got in touch via live chat last night and the guy told me my order hadn’t actually gone through (despite me having an xko order number) and that I’d need to re process my order.
fortunately, my phone is apparently still scheduled for delivery Friday and the Apple Watch S6 I ordered will also be here tomorrow between 11-12 according to DPD ✌🏼

I ordered last Friday at 13:04pm , went for the iPhone 12 Pro Pacific blue 128 Gb through upgrade anytime (Currently got iPhone 11 Pro in Green)
Went for the £83 tariff (My 10 additional line discount carried over so it’s £74.70 ) had to pay £100 upgrade fee but cost of phone was £0
I noticed that on the Friday night no money was taken so I decided to call EE Saturday morning at 8:15am and found out mine like many others was still waiting to be processed so the EE agent said he’d manually put it through so that I’d definitely get it this Friday , Payment was this taken straight away and received an confirmation pre order text message with an order number.
Today it has now changed to 23rd October for delivery so happy and relieved.
p.s I did get the Apple Watch series 6 with no issues , ordered the morning before release at 8:05am and received it the next day on Launch.

I ordered my 256gb Blue Pro at 1pm on Friday.
I got an email Monday asking me to call about my order.
Apparently my order couldn’t be processed because they didn’t know the size of the phone they sold me just a year previous. Helpful agent said that’s ridiculous because it’s on my order history.
She advised me the official line is upto 14 days, but I could still get it Friday.
I’m guessing if my tracking still says Awaiting Update that it’s not coming any time soon 🙃
I’m quite annoyed tbh. I’m half tempted to cancel and get one from Apple. It even works out cheaper to do that and sim only.
