I recently was given my sisters phone and I was making an apple Id on of the last steps was to send a 6 digit number to my phone but I wasn't receiving anything my sister then decided to call me from her phone but I was still not receiving anything I took out my sim and turned of my phone and I still could not receive anything .
as my sim card is a pay as you go I am not sure I have been put into hibernation as I have been "phone-less" for about 4 months and I haven't bought a pack since December 2019
