Does anyone know how to adjust the volume on an Alcatel mobile phone with no internet access ?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi Northerner. There are no buttons/sliders on the side. I'm afraid that I don't know the model. It is just a very basic mobile phone that just does phone calls and texts. I got it for £4 in Asda a few years ago and just have it for emergency use in my car.

Hi @Peter133
Which model do you have?
Are there not buttons on the side?
Thanks

Why does the phone need internet access to change the volume?

Hi Techhead,
It doesn't need the internet, it just hasn't got access to the internet. It is a very basic mobile phone that just does phone calls and texts.

Could you post a picture of your phone, @Peter133? Just so we can find out which model it is.

Hi Chris,
I don't seem to be able to scan my phone.

Are you able to take a picture of it from another phone or camera and upload it, @Peter133?
Or identify it through a Google search of Alcatel phones?
Chris

I've at last managed to upload a picture of my Alcatel phone.  I seem to have two images of the same phone.  They are shown below.

Hi @Peter133
We couldn't approve the image as it had some email addresses on it. I think I've figured out that it's an Alcatel Onetouch 1010 though.
Please try the steps on this Alcatel Support page.
Chris
