I have damaged my new phone with water it is within the first 30 days of the contract can anything be done?

You can ask but a lot of places won't touch water damaged phones as it would have effected every component in the phone.
But see what they say they'll give you a quote before doing any work of they would fix it

No nothing can be done for you damaging your phone unless you took out insurance.
If not then I'm sorry EE is not responsible for self damage.

Aligould.. it depends on the amount of damage but try putting the phone in a container of rice for a day or two. The rice tends to draw out the water, I revived a waterlogged Garmin watch like this. It is a bit of a long shot but it sounds like you have nothing to lose. Good luck!
