Apple Watch series 6 insurance query.

I’m currently on holiday in Mallorca and my Apple Watch 6 has stopped working after being in the pool.

After getting in the pool I went to set a swim workout and it shut down immediately and hasn’t worked since. I’d only been in the pool 10 seconds max. (so much for being able to swim with it on)

I have EE damage cover insurance, do I need to claim straight away, or can I wait until I’m home to initiate a claim?

Hi @ncb.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your watch.

I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team as soon as possible so they can make a note on your account to say that the watch isn't working.

They will be able to help you with making an insurance claim and arrange delivery for when you're back home.

Thank you, Jon. Which is the best way to contact them from here?

Thanks for your help, Jon.

After 40 minutes of waiting in a queue I decided to make the claim online. It went through the process told me it was successful, asked for a delivery date and I chose the day after I return to U.K. and hit next/continue and got a completely blank page and haven’t had any confirmation e-mail (checked junk folder too)

Is there anyway if knowing that the process completed?

Thanks for getting back to us @ncb

As you have been told the process has been successful this would indicate it your claim has been processed.

I have sent you a private message for more details.

Katie 🙂
