Early upgrade broken insured phone

Hi, I currently have a S21 ultra with a broken screen. The insurance claim has gone through but the device has not been replaced or repaired yet. If I early upgrade and trade in the broken phone will I just pay the insurance excess (plus early upgrade fee) or will it be the full damage cost?

@ngunter  it’ll be the full damage cost if you trade in a broken device this has nothing to do with your insurance or the costs you pay for that insurance. 

 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
