Upgrading online

My phone is broken and im trying to upgrade online but i am asked for a pin number which is sent by text. i cant use my phone as it is totally smashed and i dont have a nother number to call on. im not able to get to a shop, is there a way around this?

Hi @rebeccagoodhand ,

 

You could borrow a mobile phone or mobile router unlocked for EE SIMs in order to retrieve such a text.

 

You wouldn't want there to be a method to circumvent this security measure as otherwise criminals would be able to sign you up to upgrades and other contracts without your consent, permission, or knowledge.

Hi @rebeccagoodhand.

 

If you're able to borrow a phone you could either put your SIM into it, or use it to give our Upgrades Team a call.

 

The pin is required for security reasons and there isn't a way around this.
