Hi, I really want to get a larger data allowance for my 4g router. I'm currently on a 200gb monthly plan but i'm having to be very frugal with what I do in order to not run out. So I really want to get one of the unlimited data plans you can get on phone sims. I've read its possible to use a phone sim for the 4GEE wifi but when i choose to upgrade my plan it doesn't let me choose the phone sim as an upgrade. Is there any way to do this? Or do I have to wait for the current contract to run out before picking up a phone SIM plan. (I'm aware that phone SIMs have a 1TB cap. And if this is the case do I have any option to cancel my current contract?

You can't upgrade a mobile router's data plan to an unlimited data phone plan. You need to buy it separately, either now or when your min. term contract expires. You may always cancel your current contract by paying off the rest of the term - 20%.

Littlepace.. when I started with my 4G Router I opted for 100GB PCM as an estimate. I realised after the first month that this would not quite be enough. I phoned EE and upgraded to 200GB to be on the safe side - this was only an extra £5 PCM more than 100GB. This was done without any problem so you can opt to do this mid contract if you wish.
