Hello folks.
I'm with EE for my home broadband and a 18 month contract that ends in July 2022.
Openreach have just finished installing the full fibre network and have emailed saying the service is now available. The fibre between the pole and home and fibre equipment would need to be installed as part of this.
Checking EE website for my postcode shows availability for both of my adjacent neighbours but it tells me I am already on the fastest plan which is only the case on the FTTC network.
I want to upgrade but not sure how to go about it, any ideas please?
Thanks.

@Richlee81 to upgrade you’ll have to pay off your remaining term of your contract. If you still want to do this you’ll have to call customer services.

Hello Chris.
Thanks for your reply. I contacted customer services but they said they can't upgrade me yet, the option is not on their system. The guy said he'd heard the same from other customers.
Will wait a while and see what happens!
Cheers, Richard.

@Chris_B that is not quite right, the OP would only have to pay off the contract if they were to go with another supplier.
Alas for whatever reason it seems FTTP is not available.
@Richlee81 What does the BTW DSL checker show for your phone number?

The BTW DSL checker does not work for me as I do not have a landline since taking up the service with EE.
Other providers show full fibre to the premises as available to my address, just EE don't. strange that they will offer to it to all of my neighbours who aren't already with EE and who are all supplied off the same telegraph pole!
Many thanks, Richard

Then use the Address Checker of the BTW DSL checker or ask CS for your Access ID (ALID). The latter is more reliable.

Hi guys.
The address checker of the BTW DSL checker shows WBC FTTP as being available up to 1000Mbps downstream and up to 220Mbps upstream.
Thanks, Richard.

If I had 20Mb download now I'd be happy but I'm at 8Mb and that's a bit weak, I'm a long way from the cab!

Now do it for your ALID & see if WBC FTTP is still shown. Maybe EE are getting their availability that way.

Maybe EE's systems are a little slow seeing the options for your property.
Does BT give you the option for FTTP? If so EE should also, or let you move to BT without termination fees.
