Upgrade from samsung to iphone

I am looking to upgrade from a samsung s9 to iphone 11 or maybe a different iphone. However will I need a new a sim? Last time I did a swap even though they were both nano sims, I needed the phone company to make some sort of switch as it was a different device ie android to apple.

Is this still the case or will it work straight away

Hi @sarahleigh 

 

As long as the SIM is the same size in both devices, and you don't ask for a new one when you upgrade, then you can use your current SIM in whatever device you like.
