I updraged my plan at 23th of June, I received my new phone and I started to use it with my sim card. This Monday I paid via direct debit my first bill after upgrade. It shows that I have two lines open instead upgrade. I didn't even received sim card for this second line! I called customer service at Monday and I was told that they send me new SIM card and then I need to call to switch number so I can keep using my phone old number with new plan. Old plan supposed to be cancelled then and I should get refund for extra cost. I called today after receiving new SIM and I was told that I didn't do upgrade but I opened new line and nothing can be done about it! So I can't use old number with new plan and I can't get refund... Only use new plan with new SIM and cancel old plan...

Hello @Julia91 ,
Welcome to the community,
You can get a PAC code for your old number and port it to another network on pay as you go and then from the new network get a PAC code and port it back to EE on your new account, hope this makes sense.

Hi I’m in the same situation, was under the impression it was an upgrade till I received the bill? Did you resolve the situation? I’m worrying now as can’t afford to pay 2 contracts and need to keep old number due up being self employed.
