Trying to upgrade from watch 3 to 5. The watch is linked to my iphone & therefore uses the same number as the iphone. The phone number for the watch account is different & when completing the upgrade process says it needs to send a text to that number for security reasons. Fair enough. Problem is that number is not a ‘real’ number i.e. you can’t call it etc. Does anyone know how to get through the upgrade process with this issue? I Don’t want to wait on the phone as it is a hour wait at the moment, is there a quicker or easier route Thanks

If I use my iPhone number it will only let me add a device or extra sim and won’t let me upgrade as the phone is new. Looks like I’ll have to try and call so it’s not quick and easy upgrading on line then ok I’ll leave it for now not vital under these circumstances thanks anyhow

Hi @Capandy.
Welcome to the community.
Have you been able to select the second number in your online account?
If you're not able to do this, the best way to get the watch would be to call our Upgrades Team.
