Unrecognised charges

I have just recieved my bill and I have been charged £11 for a 1 hour and 9 minute phone call that no one in my house made. The number beginning in 0333 is known to be a dangerous spam number. Why would I phone a scammer?

Hi @Kimmieamarie86

Welcome to the community.

Sorry to hear that there's a charge on your bill that you think shouldn't be there.

Have you spoken to our Broadband Care team about this? They have access to your account and would be able to look into this for you.

The charge is correct for that length of call. What makes you think this 0333 no. is a spammer?

@Christopher_G : This is Home Phone, not mobile.

Thanks @XRaySpeX, I've edited my post.

I think @Kimmieamarie86 was saying that they're disputing the call was made at all.

Chris

This is a home phone, and we only ever use it if we absolutely have to. We use our mobiles 99.9% of the time because of the unlimited minutes on them. We get a lot or 02 and 03 numbers and all of them are scam callers. I looked up this number that we are meant to have spent over an hour on the phone to, and the results came up as "scam" "dangerous", with links to an Indian call centre.
