Unlimited data usage

Hi, 

I recently purchased the unlimited data add-on. I am using hotspot frequently for my laptop and have recently received a message saying I have used 80% of the data I can gift. Before purchasing the add-on, I researched and was led to believe up to 12 devices could hotspot from me. My account is also showing up as only 3GB of 30GB remaining. Is the unlimited data add-on only for mobile?

Are you data gifting to another number on your account or using your phone to tether other devices to your phones hotspot? 

If you have an unlimited data add-on you can gift data up to 100GB of data to another number on your account, this doesn't stop you being able to tether after you have used the giftable allowance.

Do you still have data remaining from your plans allowance?

The text you have received is for data gifting, you will still be able to tether after you have used the giftable allowance.

If you visit add-on.ee.co.uk do you have the unlimited data add-on showing?
