Unlimited data add-on not showing

Radiquipmedia
Visitor

I purchased an unlimited data add on for a sim card that i am using in a router but the data doesn't appear to be in use.  It says that i have paid for it on my account but that's it. The order went through 12 hours ago.

The router is in a location many miles from me so I cannot go and re-start it, nor can i contact anyone from ee as it's not a in a phone.  The chatbot is next to useless so not sure what to do now.

Any ideas would be really appreciated as it's being used to broadcast santa to many locations and i'd hate to upset the children! Many thanks

Hi @Radiquipmedia ,

The last time I applied the Unlimited Data Add-On, it was activated immediately and was immediately ready for use by devices attached.

Is it possible it's the downstream devices which have stopped attempting to use the network connection?

How are you testing whether the data connection of that SIM is live? Do you have Out-Of-Band access to that network? Or are you relying on a downstream attached device to make a connection out?

Look at http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see your data & credit status.
