I've just logged on to gift some data from my phone to the second on our account with a listed 89Mb left on their account and it is showing an £18 charge to be added on our bill this month but zero explanation what it is. There is (albeit a small amount) data left so and I've now boosted it to 1.1Gb, there are no out-of-plan calls listed, and both phones have unlimited texts. Can anyone explain how we can be given a charge that is greater than even the initial monthly cost???

Hi @amicuspro ,
Assuming you are on a pay-monthly contract, would it make sense to open an online chat with the service provider to enquire about that unknown additional charge and request that it is refunded if it's not a valid charge once you've heard the justification?

Hi @amicuspro
Thanks for coming to the community.
Can you text BALANCE to 150, does the reply show you what the charge is for?
Speak soon 🙂
Leanne.

Weirdly in the interim, the charge has now disappeared. I'll monitor it and see if it stays away or not...
