I recently bought a EE sim and wanted to transfer my old Giffgaff number to EE. I have done all the necessary things they instruct you to do. EE said to me that they would send me a confirmation email after that but did not send me one. Its been 4 days since I sent the request.. They have sent me messages such as "Request cannot be completed as unregistered PAYG account", and " Request cannot be complete as number porting out".
Does anyone know what this means?

@Jon_K Hello Jon, thank you! I managed to get through to them this morning and have registered my account and also found out what’s happening. My number will be transferred by Tuesday!
