I haven't used my SIM card for over a year. How can I get it back working again

I haven't used my SIM card for over a year. How can I get it back working again ?

I haven't top-upped through this whole time because I'm living abroad currently and I need it back to deal with HMRC. Thanks for any help.

You cannot reactivate after such a lengthy period. Your number will be recycled.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
