Trade In

Hi,

I traded in my iPhone 12 last month but due to iPhone 13 pro stocks running low, I rung and asked for an extension for the trade in but I keep getting messages now saying that I’m going to get billed as my iPhone hasn’t been traded in but I got confirmation last month it was recieved. Can I ignore this?

Hi @meg_dethk

Thanks for coming to the community.

Have you received the credit or cash back for the trade in?

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.

Hi,

The trade in applies to my new phone so takes a balance off my phone bill for my new phone. I have a text to confirm it was recieved back in November.

Hi @meg_dethk ,

I think it would be safer to assume the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and open an online chat or call to ensure you are not incorrectly billed.

I would recommend to keep that text safe and save a screenshot to keep in a place you can find it for a year or three.
