Hello,

 

I upgraded my iPhone so decided to trade in my old one using your service with Brightstar. 

 

The envelope arrived and I sent my iPhone recorded delivery and can see it arrived with Brightstar on Monday 8th of February.

 

I then received an email from them on Wednesday the 10th of February saying they had not received my iPhone and the quote was going to expire! I don't understand as I can see someone signed for it on Monday the 8th of February?

 

I have emailed them twice and tried to call them but been on hold for over 30 minutes and ended up hanging up. Is anyone else having trouble with them? I don't know what to do.

@KirstenJ   Email them a screenshot of the delivery that has been made.   It takes Brightstar 3-5 business days before they check your device.  You know they have it but the email wasn’t sent from the person who signed for it.    As long as you have proof they have it and had it on time then you have nothing to worry about.    

 

I had this issue with a watch and they had it the day after I posted it. It then took another 5 days before I got payment but I got these emails saying we don’t have it yet.

Been having emails and texts all week about my trade in aswell,found them quite intimidating, we will add £560 to your bill if we do not receive your s20+ by 12/2/21.first point I don't have an s20+ it's an s10+,secondly it took 7 days for the returns envelope to get to me,leaving only 7 days for brightstar to acknowledge receipt of phone,thirdly it took 45 minutes to actually speak to somebody  at brightstar to complain about continous harassment and as for the pathetic return envelope I hope they got it in good condition because I wasn't prepared to pay £7.50 extra for special delivery.finally got a text today off EE saying they had received my s20+ lol.

All in all quite a stressful process.
