Top Up voucher and pin number

Lincolnr2000

I have purchased a top up voucher with the 16 digit number but when I dial 150 and attempt to enter the number the system asks me to generate a pin number, some thing I have never been asked for before, Why am I now being asked for a pin number? The option is to pay 25p per minute and speak to an advisor.

Why don't you just text VO (space) Voucher-No to 150?

Calls to CS are 25p per call for PAYG but are free in the present climate.

I am having the same problem.  When I send the voucher number to 150 as directed I just get a message saying 'Sorry we could not recognise that voucher number'.  This is a top-up for my husband's phone and I have now gone direct through EE.  How can I get a refund of the £40 I spent!!

@southernbelle : Where did you buy the voucher? Take it back if it is invalid.
