I have a shiny new iPhone 11 and would like to swap off my physical SIM card to the eSim. I know I can do this online via the EE portal, but it doesn’t seem to tell me if the swap is “instant” or takes up to 24h like some sim replacements. Has anyone done this?
@Robnelson76 To use the eSim you’ll need to call customer services to request a QR pack to be sent to you you then scan the QR code and this transfers the sim information on to the eSim and this is instant.
if you have no plans to use the actual sim slot I personally wouldn’t bother doing it.
To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
