Hi,

I Wish to switch to EE, i understand the "text PAC" part(which i already have),
but i want to know the next steps please.
Should i buy a Sim from EE first(im choosing Pay monthly Sim) and activate it?
should i do the switch before my current mobile monthly pay ends(5 days perhaps)?

Will my current mobile network cancel(monthly sim) automatically after transfer?
I already registered an EE account in advance.

Please provide me step by step process.
thank You!

  1. About 10 days before your contract with your current network finishes, get your PAC from them (PACs expire after 30 days).
  2. About 2-3 days before your contract with your current network finishes, apply to EE for a SIM-Only contract and supply your PAC when asked. Don't do this late Friday or over the weekend.
  3. When your number is ported into EE your contract with the old network is auto cancelled. It should take 1 working day from when your order is accepted.

Do these two references below help?

I believe the timing can be a little difficult to get right. One play can be to request the old fixed term contract phone is converted to a Pay As You Go SIM if that is free of cost to do, so that the old number is parked and can be transferred without any rush or careful timing.
